Cordoba Fusion 12, Orchestra CE CD Nylon String Cedar, SKB 1SKB-3 Thin-line Acoustic Case Bundle
Date First Available : May 10, 2022
Designed for players looking for a nylon-stringed instrument with a feel closer to that of a steel-stringed axe, the Fusion Series Orchestra CE from Cordoba is a nylon-string classical guitar with a single-cutaway design, an onboard preamp for amplification, a built-in digital tuner, and more. It sports a solid Canadian cedar top alongside Indian Rosewood back and sides, which foster a warm sound. The mahogany neck provides a 25.6 scale, a radiused ebony fingerboard, and 19 frets. Its nut width is slightly narrower than most classical instruments at 48mm, and thus, is more suitable for steel-string and electric players looking to add a nylon axe to their arsenal. Also provided is an adjustable truss rod to ensure that the neck stays straight. This guitar offers side-position inlays all the way up the neck, giving you subtle, mother-of-pearl visual indicators at the fifth, seventh, ninth, and 12th, 15th, and 17th frets. An Indian rosewood bridge affixes strings to the body. At the headstock, youll find Cordoba Silver Tuning Machines. These machines sport a gear ratio of 14:1 for precise tuning, giving you a string-roller spacing of 35mm. For electronics, this instrument is outfitted with a Fishman Presys preamp system, an undersaddle piezo pickup, and an internal microphone. The preamp system provides bass, middle, and treble controls, as well as a notch knob for eliminating feedback, and a mic blend control to balance the internal microphone with the pickup. Youll get an overall volume knob and a mic trim pot to further adjust levels. Also provided are a phase knob for further feedback busting and a built-in tuner. A gig bag has been included to help you take the instrument from gig to gig. Neck Features Neck Wood: Mahogany Fingerboard: Ebony Profile: C-shape, radiused Truss Rod: Two-way adjustable, 0.2" / 4mm Scale Length: 25.6" / 650mm String Spacing at Saddle: 2.3" / 59mm Nut Width: 1.9" / 48mm Nut/Saddle: Bone Number of Frets: 12 to body, 19 total Fret Marker Inlays: Mother of pearl at fifth, seventh, ninth, 12th, 15th, and 17th fret Tuning Machines: Cordoba Sliver Body Features Top Wood: Solid Canadian Cedar Back and Sides: Indian rosewood Binding: Mahogany Purfling: 3-ply maple and ebony top, band, and side Bridge: Indian rosewood Rosette: Inlaid-wood mosaic Finish: High gloss polyurethane Bracing: Spanish fan, flamenco style Body Width x Depth (Upper Bout): 10.8 x 3.9" / 275 x 98mm Body Width x Depth (Lower Bout): 14.4 x 3.9" / 365 x 99mm Body Length: 19.4" / 492mm Overall Length: 38.8" / 984.3 mm
