The LTD WA-WARBIRD is excellent for any genre of music where high-performance guitar playing is a must. It offers set-thru construction, with the neck extending into the guitar's body cavity and offering smooth and fast access to the highest frets. The WA-WARBIRD has a mahogany body, a three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets. Its sound is powered by a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups... the smooth Alnico in the neck and the aggressive Ceramic in the bridge. Controls on the WA-WARBIRD include individual volume controls for each pickup, a push-pull switch on the tone control to choose pickup voicings, and a pickup selector toggle.
