Guild F-55E Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Antique Burst

Date First Available : May 05, 2022

The ultimate Guild jumbo is here. The F-55E Maple Jumbo acoustic-electric guitar features a tight-grained solid Sitka spruce top with arched flamed maple back and flamed maple sides. Created on the same arch press that's been a part of Guild manufacturing since 1985, the F-55E Maple provides sharply focused trebles and an articulate midrange, perfect for a full, centralized, harp-like sound. Performers have long revered maple for its ability to sing over a crowded room and resist the feedback problems of boomier, bassier tonewoods, and the F-55E Maple does not disappoint. Elegant cosmetic appointments include classic Guild V-block inlays, gold Gotoh hardware and a beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Exceptional build quality and premium specifications make it a worthy heir to the historic Guild jumbo legacy. The F-55E Maple Jumbo comes in a natural finish and is equipped with L. R. Baggs Anthem electronics for accurate tonal reproduction. Features: First maple back and side guitar from Guild's California factory Made on the same back press that Guild used over 30 years ago Comes with humidified premium wood case Solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides produce amazing projection and tone Ebony fingerboard plays and responds beautifully Equipped with L. R. Baggs Anthem soundhole preamp with volume and tone controls Finish gives the F-55 a beautiful look and allows the tonewoods to breathe and age naturally Gotoh SE700 open-gear gold tuners keep your F-55 in tune
